The Bisbee Cooking School

Welcome to The Bisbee Cooking School, located in Historic Old Bisbee and the heart of the Arizona wine country.  Now you can explore cooking the traditional flavors and the latest innovations of Southwest food and wine or learn the classical and regional cooking specialties from New Orleans, France, Mexico or Italy. It's all under the guidance of a professional chef while visiting one of the most charming of the great Victorian Mining Towns of the Old West. You can enjoy Bisbee's many galleries, antique shops, restaurants and coffee houses while learning the secrets of  some of the world's most exciting cuisine at the Bisbee Cooking School.

About Our School

        The Bisbee Cooking School was created by a professional chef who loves to teach.  The school is for anyone  who is  interested in food and wine.  Most classes require no previous cooking experience.  We  teach the basic techniques needed. Classes are held in a fully equiped home style kitchen preparing dishes that you can make yourself. 

         Each hands-on class includes creative and exceptional recipes, demonstrations and the special background and ingredients of the region or type of cooking.  The class concludes with a sit down meal complete with the appropriate wine or other beverage. Prices include all materials. Classes are generally limited to eight students. 

     The keynote of all our classes is having fun while doing hands-on learning.  The native foods of the Southwest, its herbs and vegetables, are the starting point for our creation of distinctively modern cuisine, be it traditional French or New Southwest.
