The Bisbee Cooking School was created by a professional chef who loves to teach. The school is for anyone who is interested in food and wine. Most classes require no previous cooking experience. We teach the basic techniques needed. Classes are held in a fully equipped home-style kitchen preparing dishes that you can make yourself.
Each hands-on class includes creative and exceptional recipes, demonstrations and the special background and ingredients of the region or type of cooking. The class concludes with a sit down meal complete with the appropriate wine or other beverage. Prices include all materials. Classes are generally limited to eight students.
The keynote of all our classes is having fun while doing hands-on learning. The native foods of the Southwest, its herbs and vegetables, are the starting point for our creation of distinctively modern cuisine, be it traditional French or New Southwest.
